The Country Coordination Mechanism Sri Lanka Meeting was held on 24th June 2025 from 1.00 to 3.30 pm at the Main Auditorium of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media,”Suwasiripaya”, Colombo 10 under the chairmanship of the Secretary, Ministry of Health and Mass Media with participation of Members, Observers and other stakeholders.

Many important decisions were taken in respect of the three Grants which are currently active with the support of the Global Fund.

The meeting was the final one for the term of CCMSL 2023/2025. The Civil Society Members who were selected through a very transparent selection process including an election was endorsed and approved by the Chairman and the Members.The representatives from those CSOs to represent at the CCMSL will be requested shortly.

The Chairman will request to nominate representatives from the relevant Directorates of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, other respective Ministries and Bilateral/Developmental Partners ensuring the transparency of the process as in the routine manner.

One of the Provincial Directorate of Health Services and Regional Directorate of Health Services also will be selected in far with the recently modified and updated Governance Manual of CCMSL as a new initiative from 2025.

New CCMSL will be held in September 2025.
