The inaugural meeting of the Country Coordination Mechanism Sri Lanka (CCMSL) was held on 3rd October 2025, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at the Nain Auditorium, Ministry of Health and Mass Media, Suwasiripaya, Colombo 10.

During the meeting, the appointment, selection, and election of CCM Members for the 2025–2028 term was officially announced. Representation across constituencies and sub-constituencies is in accordance with the latest Governance Manual of the CCMSL.

A noteworthy development in this cycle is the commencement of participation by Members from provincial and regional directorates, marking their first term as part of the CCMSL. Due to the absence of eligible candidates, Faith-Based Organizations and Key Populations 2 are not represented in this cycle.

We are pleased to announce the unanimous selection of:

Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, as Chairman of the CCMSL for the 2025–2028 term.

Mr. Roshan De Silva, Executive Director of Diversity and Solidarity Trust, as Vice Chair of the CCMSL for the same term.

The CCMSL extends its heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed leadership and looks forward to a bright and impactful term ahead.
